Apple has stopped selling all its products in Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine.

The company said in a press release that it was “deeply concerned” by the Russian invasion and, in response, had “interrupted all sales of products” in the country.

According to news.ro, which quotes CNN, Apple also said that it has taken measures to limit access to digital services, such as Apple Pay, inside Russia and restricted the availability of Russian state media applications abroad.

“Last week, we stopped all exports to our sales channel in the country. Apple Pay and other services have been limited. RT News and Sputnik News are no longer available for download from the App Store outside of Russia, ”the company said.

In an open letter, the Ukrainian government last week called on Apple to stop accessing the App Store and stop selling products in Russia after the widespread invasion of Ukraine.
