According to the head of marketing of Hyundai Motor Europe, the Asian manufacturer is preparing a new model with zero emissions, of small dimensions, for the Old Continent. It would cost about 20,000 euros, according to Automarket.

Hyundai is one of the car manufacturers that relies heavily on electrification. The Asian manufacturer recently introduced the new Ioniq 6, and next year the Ioniq family will be completed with a new model. This is the Ioniq 7 SUV.

In the meantime, however, Hyundai is also thinking about Europeans who want an affordable zero-emission model.

In an interview with Automotive News Europe, Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, marketing director at Hyundai Motor Europe, confirmed that such a model is under development. The starting price will be around 20,000 euros.

By 2030, Hyundai plans to launch 11 zero-emission models. At the same time, by 2035, the Asian brand will stop selling heat-powered cars in Europe.
