“Continuing such joint efforts, we remain committed to strengthening European energy security, while respecting the highest standards of safety, nuclear security and non-proliferation,” said Klaus Iohannis, according to the Presidential Administration.

The President of Romania also evoked the symbolic context of the 25th anniversary of the launch of the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United States of America and reaffirmed Romania’s commitment to strengthening excellent political and security cooperation, as well as the other dimensions of the Partnership.
