The soldiers of the Ukrainian border detachment Mucacevo stopped several attempts to cross the border illegally to Romania! As a result of the checks, 20 Ukrainian citizens of military conscription age were detained.

The investigators are trying to establish the organization of the groups involved in the illegal crossing of the river that separates the historical regions of the Old Kingdom. To stop the fugitives, the policemen of the neighboring state used their weapons and fired warning shots.

Three other men, residents of the Khmelnytskyi region, were previously detained near the village of Bogdan. All have filed for illegal border crossing and will be subject to martial law regarding wartime desertion.
