The President of the Romanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (FRCF), Gabriel Toncean, announced on Monday that Romania has become the European champion in bodybuilding and fitness, at the European Championship held in Santa Susanna, Spain, being a premiere in the history of this federation.

“In a very strong competition with almost 1,000 athletes from 41 countries, Romania became European champion, for the first time in the history of the Romanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, dethroning Spain (host country) or other strong countries with tradition and results in the beautiful our sport! I can’t tell you what beautiful and unique feelings I have because of this huge victory! Due to fatigue (I slept a maximum of 8 hours in the last 3 days!) It is difficult for me to thank you nominally to all those who by your good deeds or thoughts actually pushed us to victory, but I will return in a later post with more details accurate, both about the number of medals obtained and the cumulation of factors that made the national anthem of Romania to be sung no less than 25 times in the 3 days of competition “, posted Gabriel Toncean, on Facebook, quoted by Digi24.

Toncean specified that he dedicates this victory especially to his family, to the team of the Romanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation – athletes, coaches, club presidents, etc. – and to all those who believed in him, “understanding that all healthy projects in the medium and long term are done with small and safe steps”.

A few days ago, Gabriel Toncean was elected vice-president of the European Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
