A large online event, #StandUpForUkraine, organized in support of people who were forced to flee Ukraine, will take place on Saturday starting at 16.00 (Romanian time), announces the Representation in Romania of the European Commission.

The World Fundraising Event “Supporting Ukraine” was jointly convened by Ursula von der Leyen and the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

Funding and donations will provide vital humanitarian assistance to the 6.5 million people, including 2.5 million children, who were forced to flee their homes but remained in Ukraine and are now displaced. country.
